Today was hard. The workouts and water weren't hard. But my intermittent fasting windows are becoming a challenge. I don't think I'm getting enough calories, carbs or protein. While working in the yard, I was just grumpy and tired, which are all signs to me of being in calorie-deficit for too many days.
I think I will use tomorrow to reduce my fasting window by 1 hour from 16 to 15 hrs which will increase my eating window from 8 to 9 hrs. I hope the extra hour will give me an opportunity to have another meal. I'll try it for the next week and see how it goes.
The workout today was a doozy! It started with 7 rounds of air bike sprints with 1 moderately heavy power clean. The metcon was several rounds of push press with walking lunges. The accessory workout was back extensions, weighted strict pullups and bicycle crunches. The water consumption was easy to hit as I was at my goal consumption by 5p. My second workout was yardwork....90 full minutes of it 🤢
I hope the slight change in my eating window will help fuel my workouts going forward. Onward and upward!
