It is time for another update. So much has happened since my last 75 Hard post, although it says it posted on Aug 23rd. Nevermind that. This summer I've experienced so much and I truly believe doing 75 Hard helped me prepare for the onslaught of sadness to be experienced. Hope u can follow along.
To begin, my uncle (my mom's brother) passed away in mid-June. He was one of my favorite people in that growing up, I spent a ton of time with him and his wife while attending tailgates for buccaneer games. He was the closest thing to another father I had and he will be sorely missed.
While in town to hang with family following rhe funeral, we received word my cousin in Ft.Worth. What was odd, her two brothers were in town for my uncles funeral. Needless to say, they flew back to DFW to tend to their sister and the family needs.
3 weeks later, I flew to DFW to honor and celebrate my cousin's life. She was loved by so many and it was wonderful to watch. Spending time with my parents, my sister and hubby, and my oldest cousin and her hubby was amazing and special. And they enjoy bourbon! That was a bonus.
