75 Hard - Day 52


Day 52 in the books! Challenging in the sense that the third straight day of weightlifting is challenging in and of itself. Secondly, Snatches and Overhead Squats are just tough for me! But it got done at the prescribed weights. The sec9nd workout was a quick spin on the bike with a walk around the neighborhood. Tomorrow is an active recovery day with a 60 min run/walk intervals and plenty of stretching and mobility work. 

Water went down quite easily and during my 8.5 hrs of food consumption, I got it in! Toodles!

75 Hard - Day 51


Sweat equity at its finest! Did u miss me?! The past 20 days have been a HUGE challenge. Personal things that I just don't want to divulge here, but I had to make some choices. Basically, I didn't miss a beat with the diet, the water, two workouts and no alcohol. Where I failed were the easy things: daily photo and writing in my journal (as u can see lol). But I'm back for the remaining 24 or so days, I hope lol

Today's workout wasn't too terrible. It started with 6 sets of 6 reps of strict press which felt great. The metcon though....whew lawd! 16 minute amrap of increasing power cleans and a 400m run. My daughter performed it with me and the metcon left us both sucking air!  The accessory part was strict pullups,  alternating sb curls and tricep pushdown. It felt great and it feels better to write about it see u tomorrow 👋🏾
